E.G. stands for 'empty glass'. The drinking game is simple. Every time you finish your drink you have to touch your glass on somebody before placing it on the table. If you forget and put your 'empty glass' on the table you will hear the drinking vultures waiting to scream 'E.G.' and you will have to go to the bar and buy a fresh pint or whatever drink you are drinking and down it in one. Some people make the mistake of placing their glass that they just downed in one straight back onto the table without touching it on somebody, this results in another visit to the bar and another pint in one...In this game, you are allowed to kindly give your empty glass to an unsuspecting friend to put down...
